Close to be called bad, it was a road game. Not to the level of Delaware State in years past...

and if somehow they can pull it off their RPI will take a huge leap!

Syracuse is not that good. a winnable game I think for Gtown. interesting to see how Govan plays against the zone.

Hands down it’s the worst so far though. Georgia at least has a shot at making the NCAAs.

Because of location, it's very possible both of them are tier 3 losses end of the season.
Georgia to not be tier 3 loss for Marquette- would need to finish top 75
UMass to not be tier 3 loss for Providence- would need to finish top 135

I didn't give an excuse. I said I expected them to lose since they struggled to beat Brown and Rider
I wasn't taking a shot at you.

I just wish the Friars could navigate games like this more effectively.
no offense taken. you have a point. this loss makes me think back to the teams of a few years ago. NO focus, no one stepping up when needed. i thought PC was past that. Cooley needs to address it and put and end to it

Providence has a really dicey game on the 20th vs Houston and then conference play starts out pretty tough for PC.

I had reservations about PC early on. Really not trying to pile on here, but they were my pick for most overrated. I thought we were the most underrated and it's looking like both might end up true. There were people saying PC would be in the top 25 not long ago. Again, good program but not that great this year.

actually looking at KP-
St John's has only moved up from 51 to 49.

Xavier has moved up from preseason 26 to 11.
Seton Hall from 28 to 15
so think those 2 were the most underrated...

for overrated- yes Providence- they've gone from 25 to 55.

I still have my doubts about the Johnies. I'm hoping they prove me wrong early in the BE season. I really hope they safely make it to the NCAA

St John's has the most important 1st conference game of the year I think- hosting Providence. A loss there and wow, things get really tough for them. They could be looking in that scenario a 2-5 conference start really easily.
