Pretty amazing record. Maybe there's some kind of mental edge there? More pressure on the AAC schools for being in a crappy conference and needing as many good OOC wins as possible. Meanwhile, the schools that left for the ACC/B1G could have higher expectations on them, since they left our league for what should be better. In the case of most of those teams, however, they aren't doing better. BE can act as the underdog even if they aren't truly an underdog.

I think for SJU vs Syracuse at least, that is true. Johnnies played at a different level during those games. Syracuse got so annoyed they stopped scheduling with us.
