I know Ohio State probably is middle of the pack Big 10 at best but it's a nice win. Maybe this can jumpstart Butler whose looked pretty pedestrian so far.

Congrats on the comeback Butler.

And UConn loses by 35 points to Arkansas. Nice.

Shot 36.2% total 19.4% from 3 and 55.0% at the FT line and pulled out an UGLY win! (Poked Boltman in the eye while we're at it with a classic Butler win.) We have issues, but we're still Butler! ;)
Lets go Dawgs!

I had written it off as an L. Great win Butler - this one has to feel extra nice.

Exactly- good for the new coach to win a big one like that. Emotional game for all involved.

I wasn't able to tape the Butler win. Such a great win for them.

DePaul is up on Portland 32-17, halfway thru first. Good to see.

AMAZING WIN BY BUTLER!! ESPN had OSU at about 99.6% odds of winning with a few minutes left.

Posted this on the Redmen board as well, but a look at St. John's OOC this year vs last year's:

Last year's OOC (Kenpom):

W @ 55 Syracuse
W vs 202 Fordham
W @ 241 Tulane
W vs 284 CSU Northridge
W vs 314 Binghamton
W vs 340 Bethune-Cookman

L @ 37 Minnesota
L vs 40 Michigan State
L vs 48 VCU
L vs 87 Penn State
L vs 120 Old Dominion
L vs 253 LIU Brooklyn
L vs 339 Delaware St

This year:

W vs 71 UCF
W vs 100 Oregon St
W vs 106 Nebraska
W vs 279 New Orleans
W vs 323 Central Connecticut
W vs D2 Molloy

L vs 58 Missouri

To Stever's credit, UCF is the highest rated win this year despite a lot of Johnnies fans sort of looking past this game and placing more emphasis on Oregon State, Missouri (rightfully), and Nebraska.

SJU has already matched their OOC win total from last year (6).

I think UCF is kind of banged up if I'm not mistaken. So this could wind up being a win for St John's that gets better. Unless they can beat Arizona St or Duke, UCF could easily be their best win of the OOC season. So St John's fans need to hope UCF does some damage this year. Otherwise their OOC schedule is pretty hallow. Oregon St lost to Long Beach St. If they lose to ASU and Duke, it's 3 OOC losses and only 9 D1 wins.

DePaul will win at Portland, up 18 or so with 2 minutes left.

This is the second double-digit halftime lead this season for DePaul, exceeding the one time from last year. Combine that with 4 solid/ close losses to Notre Dame, Illinois, Michigan State and Oregon, and the Blue Demons might be turning the corner. Especially since they're not making mind-numbingly poor decisions in these games, compared to in past seasons.

They could run the table in the rest of their non-conf, even in their game vs Northwestern.

Remaining non-conf:
- Youngstown State.
- Central Connecticut.
- UIC Flames. <--- on road.
- Alabama A&M.
- Northwestern. <--- home.
- Miami of Ohio.

They're 2-4 after beating Portland.

Run the table and go 8-4.

DePaul is definitely playing better. No easy outs in the BE this year!

And think- 2 of their losses- Notre Dame and Michigan St- ND won in Maui and don't look now, but Michigan St is up 14 on UNC at the half for PK80 title.
