Not a great day for the BEast against the F5. Johnnies, Cavier and DePaul all go down. Seton Hall gets us a win.

Sat - November 25: Boston College vs. Providence

ACC : 0-1
SEC : 3-1
B1G : 4-5
PAC : 3-2
B12 : 0-2

Overall 10-11

Go Big East!

And Georgetown has yet to play any. They don't until they play Syracuse in mid December.

During the DePaul- Oregon there were several comments made about Georgetown bailing out of PK80 and DePaul stepping up to take their spot. Watching the game, I couldn't help but think what a shot in the arm for the team it might have been if Ewing had beaten Oregon last night.

Settle down, Burrito.

Gtown has played frickin no one. DePaul's program is still nowhere where it needs to be but at least they are challenging themselves in this non-conference schedule.

What makes anyone think that Gtown could have beat Oregon last night?

Georgetown has scheduled realistically. They are not good, and are going to struggle in league play. It doesn't help the league for them to go 3-8 ooc, and it would make Ewing's job harder going forward if they were to post an 8-24, as opposed to say, 14-18. 14-18 looks like a team that might be a player or two away, 8-24 looks like a train wreck. Perception matters. Most recruits aren't going to analyze the schedule. They just see the final record. You don't want to end up having to try to sell a train wreck.

Oh give me a break! SJU was in a worse spot when Mullin took over and we didn't pull this crap.

No way was St. Johns in a worse spot when Mullin took over than the situation DePaul has been over the last 10 years. You have no idea how hard it is to be a fan of this program when you know where this program SHOULD be at.....and holding its own to help each and every other member of the BE.
