Also, I see the Big East Moderator on CSNBBS posted a comment yesterday basically blaming you for killing the Big East board over there with your constant negativity about the conference's prospects.

"I must have been a pretty terrible mod, because I let one poster I respect speak his mind about how he was very down on the future potential of the C7 Big East without the football schools, and the result was most of the posters migrated to a board with a much more rah-rah pro-Big East moderation policy."

Wow, I feel honored I was the only mod removed! GTS is an ass who let the ACC posters bash the Big East. Not surprising as he's a huge Georgia Tech homer. I wear that as a badge of honor. Also Bragg isn't a real SJU fan, he's a casual fan whose mom went to SJU. He always talks smack about this board. Since he isn't an actual SJU fan he never has come over here. He rather just hang out on CSNBBS with Stever.

Sheesh... Positive Quote of the Week. You get the No-Prize.

We all know the BE is a great conference and going below . 500 doesn't change that. The schedule doesn't look very favorable overall. Nova will finish with total of 1 stinking game VS. football schools before the tournament, while DePaul seems hellbent on going 0-6...

but at the same point- Nova shows how stupid the labels are. Playing Gonzaga is better for Nova than 90% of any p5 conferences. it's light years better than the Tennessee game yesterday.

I do think what's happened in Atlantis is why you're going to start to see some of these 8 team tourneys fail. I think you're going to see more of the 4 team tournaments that we're seeing. much more of a known SOS than the 8 team tournaments.

A majority of BE posters on CSNBBS left because of the outright and blatant personal attacks against posters, as well as the general illogical and non-sensical arguments that a small number, but incredibly vocal, of their posters made against C7 posters. Here, there are really only two posters that continue to stir the pot (you know who you are), and it is a much more enjoyable Big East-focused and related discussion without the infusion of negativity or the purposeful devaluing of on-court success. It is sad to see the Big East forum over there become a graveyard, but that's what happens when you allow so many tiring, repeated, and skewed, arguments - with the cloak of "true" discussion - to take place.

Many of those toxic posters have since been banned (there is an influx of new ones), but there is never a shortage of professional trollage that simply feed the egos of many of the posters over there. I do hope that for the sake of our board, we are not as tolerant with blatant attempts of pot-stirring and with endless and countless arguments that either diminish what our conference or members are, or - more importantly - continue to promote or elevate other conferences that our schools do not belong to. This is a Big East board. If you don't like the Big East, it's members, or the established perception of the league, then I'd recommend going to another board where those thoughts are accepted and embraced.

And I got booted as a mod over there because I wouldn't let the ACC posters troll the Big East and that ruffled the feathers of the ACC mods who didn't have a problem with having a double standard.

A Thanksgiving Day split for the BEast. DePaul and Butler fall but the Red Storm and Wildcats even out the day and keep us undefeated against the SEC and PAC 12. Four more on tap today.

Fri. - November 24: Missouri vs. St. John's
Arizona State vs. Xavier
Oregon vs. DePaul
Vanderbilt vs. Seton Hall

ACC : 0-1
SEC : 2-0
B1G : 4-5
PAC : 3-0
B12 : 0-2

Overall 9-8
