I hope you’re right PK! Really happy with the win tonight. They looked great. Defense seems improved which was our biggest issue last season. Good luck against Wisconsin!

Our defense impressed me, tonight. Deflections, steals, blocked shots, and anything else you can think of on the defensive end. They were able to accomplish it against Nebraska.

The 'Huskers were clearly the bigger squad, but the Johnnies outscored them in the paint to the tune of 42-16. The Johnnies were also +11 on the boards.

Here's something to chew on: Nebraska only made 16 FG attempts, while St. John's blocked 10 shots.

Great win by the Johnnies.

Copeland's game has continued to regress. It was a good move to transfer down a level :D

As long as they're not derailed by injuries St John's will be dangerous. (Obviously you can say that of any team, but St. John's doesn't have a lot of depth, so it's more true)

Damn, that back to back transition for Xavier to get two threes.

Great day! Was at SJ game the crowd was electric. Haven't ever heard it that loud. The crowd definitely took the life out of Nebraska they looked stunned. Great job by X handling a very tough Wisconsin team!! 2 wins for Big East today in Gavitt Games!

Good win by Xavier. Really gutted it out down the stretch.

Man Blueitt is good, but makes some maddening decisions at times. Really forced a lot of shots, but then hit big shots when it counted.

surprised at how pro Washington the crowd seems at MSG tonight. Feels like it's at least 60/40 if not more pro Washington.

I was saying the same about Copeland's regression. He wasn't hitting anything from deep during his few games at Georgetown a season ago. It's continued with Nebraska. He looks very, average now.
