Govan follows up his 20pt 15 rebound performance with 20pts and 14 rebounds today. If he keeps playing like this he'll be drafted with his ability to stretch the floor.

Nice to see this team reach tripple digits since there were concerns about our ability to score. 5 players in double figures. Good stuff. Let's keep gorging on the cupcakes. :D

Lots of traveling and I believe they start 3 freshmen. I saw a good portion of the game, and outside of their point guard, Mt. St. Mary didn't have anyone who could routinely put it on the floor. Their bigs were also stiffs.

Georgetown shot it well from deep, tonight, as well. As, far as margin was concerned, it was good for Georgetown. But, I'll still wait until I see them play someone who is even considered 'decent.' Georgetown should have no more than one loss going into conference play.

I also hope you're quick to report to the board after a loss being you like to go idle after losses or when things go south. ;)

Only 2 games in but I definitely prefer the Ewing more uptempo offense to the JT3 pass the ball around the 3 point line for most of the shot clock.

Congrats on the big win Seton Hall.

Definitely won't be. And that's my prerogative. Don't buy into some social contract that I should have to come here and take some sort of licking if my team loses. I only like to talk about positive things. I don't feel the need to vent here if we lose. I'm sure you guys will be able to adequately rip my team in my absence. ;)

Butler laid a big stinky egg tonight at Maryland losing 79-65. Shot poorly (34%) and got out rebounded 33-16... Caused 20 To's, but couldn't score any points off of them... Young team who had a bad night I hope.

What a game!!! No way there are 5 players in the BE better than Khyri Thomas.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

That was with Marcus Foster having a subpar game until hitting the big treys in the last few minutes. Perhaps trying too hard with 24 NBA scouts reportedly at the game (apparently stuck around after the weekend games). Downer is I am guessing Toby is going to be out a stretch. Looked like a bad high ankle sprain. We will see. We were already thin in the post. He has really transformed himself into a decent power 4. Hope it's not as bad as it looked. Thing is we left a lot of points out there with some careless plays here and there and still stuck 92 on them.

What a game by the Jays. Thomas was stud tonight. Foster hit some clutch 3's in the second half. Freshman duo of Alexander and Ballock made huge contributions as well. Only downside is Hegner might be out for awhile, Epperson might not redshirt after all.
