Here we go with another season installment of the Big East against the Football 5 schools. We get started right away this weekend when Notre Dame visits DePaul and then the Gavitt Games roll in.

Sat. - November 11: Notre Dame vs. DePaul
Mon. - November 13: Minnesota vs. Providence
Tue. - November 14: Purdue vs. Marquette
Wed. - November 15: Indiana vs, Seton Hall
Butler vs. Maryland
Creighton vs. Northwestern
Thr. - November 16: Nebraska vs. St. John's
Xavier vs. Wisconsin
Washington vs. Providence
Fri. - November 17: DePaul vs. Illinois

DePaul falls to the Irish to start us off. Gavitt Games start tomorrow in Providence.

Friars were in it for most of the game but couldn't drop the Gophers

This is definitely a tough slate of first week games, I see probably 4-4. X at Wisky will be tough.

Very tough start. Should at least be 4-4 as I think Seton Hall, Johnnies, Providence and X win. If we can grab one more that would be good going into the Thanksgiving Tournys.

Providence could easily get Va Tech on Friday if they beat Washington.

Would've been nice to see an upset last night. Oh well. we are 0-2. Hoping for the league to bounce back.

These Major match-ups are huge for perception and March bids
Stony Brook Red, Connecticut Blue, and Big East basketball!

To be fair, the 3 losses are to 3 ranked teams against 3 non-ranked teams. Would have been nice to get one of them but no major surprises here.
