The Butler Way appears to basically ensure a complete lack of head coaching stability due to their extremely favorable buy out terms until the program collapses upon itself. Sure Schrage makes the most sense to promote and then I'm sure we'll be doing this again in 2 years or so.

Damn, if Holtmann leaves, I have to worry about BU sniping the best recruiter in the Midwest and probable next XU coach, Travis Steele. Also sucks he graduated from BU.

David Woods of the Indy Star tweeting a source says "zero chance" of a press conference today introducing Holtmann to Ohio State. Interesting.

edit: announcement scheduled, but no presser. 8 yr deal at $3M_+ per year.
