We'll see how Goodin responds when others know he is the guy and have a chance to prepare. Not saying he won't, but we'll see.

You do realize his "backup" is the 28th best player in all the land and a Top 5 PG. I think Sumner and Christon were rated lower. I think Scruggs will have a huge impact with this team, and, yes, Mack will play him. We'll see how the minutes shake out after the OOC.
Plus, the kid may come in as the best defender on the team, Mack will love that. So the BE needs to get ready for Paul Scruggs.

Fair enough i'm just saying Quentin already played the entire conference season last year. He started like 20 games. Teams had plenty of time to adjust to him. Also, he'll still have JP and Trevon to pass to so he's not going to be expected to be "the guy".
That first team looks good. I think Cartwright would be the odd man out.

Some comments on here are head-scratchers... like this one.
Did anyone ever say after Villanova's national championship run, they did great in the tournament this year without the advanced scouting!
Why say that after Xavier's Elite 8 run? For the comment to even be relevant, Xavier must have had the chance to do "advanced scouting" for Maryland, Florida State and Arizona, but those schools didn't have the chance to do the same "advanced scouting" of Xavier? Whatever inherent challenges due to the structure of the tournament one team faces, the opponent will face similar.
Not a big deal, but just a weird comment to make. I've never heard anyone diminish a team's success in the NCAA because the other team wasn't able to do "advanced scouting"
