I'm so excited I have family and friends reserving so many hotel rooms for that night! This is going to be one helluva a New Year's. Go Big East !

My grandma, aunts and uncles all live in Omaha and are Jays fans (I am too) but am excited for the game and am planning on heading to Omaha for the game to support my Marquette Warriors and Creighton as well as the conference as a whole.

FS1 says the first game Gus and Raf will call together will be Nov 8. Anyone know if their school has a good non conference game lined up for that day?

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure Georgetown plays Oregon on that day, and St.Johns plays Wisconsin

The Georgetown game is at a military base and the St. John's game is like in South Dakota of all places I think, not sure if Fox Sports 1 has the rights to those games.

I'm guessing Gardner-Webb is not the game.

(BTW, I wish they would fix this website so you don't have to log in every time you visit to comment. It won't remember my log-in at all.)

ESPN has the rights to the G'town/Oregon game.

TV hasn't been negotiated for the St. John's/Wisconsin game in Sioux Falls yet. I wonder if that's it?

We've got a list of BE schedules/games that we currently know about -- about the only teams we can probably count out of that November 8 initial telecast are Georgetown, Xavier (playing the less-than-marquee Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs that night) and Butler (who plays the next night against Lamar).

Oh man I hope it's SJU vs Wisconsin!!! Thats the kind of game to get things going. A big time team from the B1G against one of the most talented teams in the Big East. Gus and Raff calling the game. You know they will be promoting the hell out of it during NFL games as well as UFC fights and the Pac and Big XII games. Oh I can not WAIT!

Got to believe it's the Johnnies' game against Minnesota. Would be a great way to announce that the Big East is here with a high profile B1G opponent. With the team we have this year I think we have a great chance of winning that one.
We are New York's team. We are St. John's.
