Power6, baby.

At least in their minds. Out of view, penniless and self-anointed is no way to go through life son.

To be fair, the Power 5 is a self-anointed nickname.

How can something be so pathetically sad and so hilarious at the same time? If it was simply a conference decision to join the "power" conference group, we would be looking at the Power100 group.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.

It might be fruitless, but can you blame them? The AAC is in a precarious situation so I don't think it's a bad idea.

It'll be a weird, weird world if Tulane, East Carolina, Central Florida and South Florida join the ranks of Duke, UNC, UK and Kansas.

EDIT: Before you write an essay for why I'm wrong Stever, those four schools have a combined 12 NCAA Tournament appearances. Amazingly, this is still less than any single Big East member.

pretty big move for the AAC. This year of course due to the Big Ten tourney being week earlier, but would think after this year might just replace the A10 in the early slot on Selection Sunday. Would think this year this will mean Nantz and Raft and Grant Hill will be calling the AAC championship game.

I thought it was just the conference championship game on CBS with the rest of the tourney ending up on CBS College Sports. At least that's what they were saying on csnbbs.
