MCN: Where does the Big East fit on the schedule?

ES: In general, Big East basketball will be concentrated on Monday and Thursday nights, as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings. We only have 24 Golden Boy fights and some are expected to move to Tuesdays during college basketball season. We expect that Fox Sports 1 will have a modest schedule of women's basketball and Olympic sports.

I thought once upon a time that having a game every night of the week was discussed. Terribly difficult to schedule that way I know, but it would have filled a lot of cold nights here watching Big East hoops.

I put in a request at a hotel that I frequent on business that they add FS1 in HD come August. Trying to do my part.

I've been trying to use FoxSports.com as my internet sports info site instead of ESPN, but it bothers me that they don't even have a tab on the main page for college basketball info. I'm accustomed to going to the ESPN and clicking that link for news and updates, but FS doesn't even have that available. Should that bother us as the main carrier of our product? link: http://msn.foxsports.com/

Bother? I don't use fox sports and don't like that same issue, but they're probably just ordering them roughly based on the traffic they get.

The site makes it a two step process; a user needs to hover over 'MORE' and then select 'NCAA BK' to access the college basketball section.

Sounds like the Big East is meeting with Fox Sports 1 today to talk about the TV schedule...

Who is representing the Big East? Anyone recognize the people in the photo?

I used to do this for the MVC, so I went ahead and started this for the Big East. I am compiling all of the MBB TV games for the season to see them all in one spot. So far there are already 36 TV broadcasts out there thanks to the tournaments all the teams are in and that doesn't include the Fox Sports 1 games yet to be announced, other national games and possibly local games. I'll update it as I find things or feel free to pass along info.

Hopefully Fox1 does the following things:

1) Big East Round Up show every Sunday night (highlights of games, top plays, in depth conference discussion)
2) Bi-Monthly Shows for each of the 10 Big East Schools (SNY did similar shows for SHU and RU in recent years)

I think those two things would be a nice touch.
