We are getting paid more than when we were in a league with Louisville, Syracuse and UConn. If someone wants to call this league mid major because it doesn't play big time football, who cares?

In regards to basketball, our goal should be to be better than the SEC, BIG 12 and PAC 12. As far as the ACC goes, Boeheim, Williams, Pitino and Coach K are all in their sixties and will all be retired in the next 5-7 years. Syracuse will be going from a Hall of Fame coach with 900 wins to a Non Hall of Fame coach with zero wins. Their record on the hardcourt will adjust accordingly.

BEwannabe, what are you still doing here?

1. The BE is not a mid major
2. I hate the use of the term mid major
3. North Carolina will not cease to be a basketball power after Williams retires... i think they were well established before he got there. The same goes for louisville. NC and KY are basketball states these programs are highly likely to retain their status of basketball powers. Syracuse and Duke are slightly different stories being private schools however both had had some success prior to their respective coaches being present. I doubt they fall completely off the map.

Doug Gottlieb insults every team in the Big East, and I'm the problem?
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

Major Conferences:
SEC - Big 10 - Big 12 - Pac 12 - ACC

Can the Big East get a #1 ranked team in the next 5 seasons or a national champion in the next 5 seasons?
Some tough competition out there ~

Well, 3 years later we can put these concerns to bed. Great job Nova!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
