being hot from the 3 in the 1st half sometimes is a curse. you try to shoot your way to a win instead of driving or being locked down on D.

Butler needs to stop the turnovers. Get the lead back to double digits. Don't be like Providence.

I'd rather see Butler go small and put AC at the 5 and Martin at the 4 than have Fowler in. He just never does anything that impresses me.

Butler's really going to miss Tyler Lewis next year. Hope he can end his NCAA career with a big March.

its a funny game. Butler couldn't get anything to go in, including free throws. They then miss a nearly uncontested layup and an easy putback, but get the rebound and even the third point-blank opportunity bounces on the rim before going through. From that point on, I think Butler is shooting well above 50%. Just needed to get one to go down.

Lewis came in and Butler methodically put the game away in the 2nd half. Big win for the Big East. Hopefully Martin's good to go Saturday.
