This is going to sound mid-majorish, but how about having 7v10 and 8v9 games on campus sites earlier, lets say Monday or Tuesday, and then just start the BET Thursday?

That would take away from the appeal of the BET in bringing everyone to MSG. It would also hurt ticket sales. Teams start selling their BET strips in the fall. Who's gonna want to buy a tourney strip when their team may not even make it to MSG?

Yeah it's already a little lonely with 10 teams.

Villanova up 19-8. St. John's look dead tired.

Nova up 25-10. Could get out of hand here soon.

St. John's better cool it with intentional fouls. It looked worse than last night's.

Agree with Hall.

A little history, a little off topic... back in the mid 00's, only the top-12 of 16 teams in the Big East standings would qualify for the BET. One year PC didn't qualify, because new BE members, former A-10 or indy losers like Rutgers and Notre Dame, had bumped us. It sucked. Definitely everyone of us should go to MSG.

I could be wrong here, but maybe an extra 7 hours of rest (to at least get close to a full day) could have helped St. John's get the energy to at least guard somebody...

-Don't even think for a second to change the format of the BET. We are trying to add dates to the BET not reduce...

It's obvious they just don't have the legs, and it doesn't help that Nova appears to have come out fired up.
