How great was Cartwright? And to think that this kid was a late addition to the recruiting classs 3 years ago, someone they hadn't been recruiting. 8-)

Yes, to go into perhaps the toughest home court in the conference and pull out a win in the closing seconds was very impressive.

This puts them in position to earn a bid. Win their final 2 home games vs Marquette and DePaul, then pick up one more win either @St John's or in the tournament and they're probably in. I think they'll do that.

For some reason this year, we suck on our home court. Already 4 losses on our home court is not really acceptable for the talent on this team. I'm not sure why Coach Mac keeps playing Zierden at the point for which he was most of the 2nd half. The offense stalls, Zierden has no identity and loses his shot or doesn't shoot at all which wouldn't be the case if he was the SG and not the PG. Please play Mintz, we aren't going to get anywhere far with Zierden at the point.

The only loss at home before Watson went down was to Villanova. I think the struggles at home are directly related to his loss. Maybe Mintz would be better, but he's just a freshman and Watson would still be missed.

Just my 2 cents.

Most likely another transfer, Caleb Joseph (who transferred to CU from Syracuse last year). I could see Davion Mintz being in the picture for starting PG as well, if Joseph doesn't pan out.
