Big boosts to both Seton Hall and Providence's bubble chances tonight... gritty wins by both teams. Providence could have folded several times in that game, especially on the road, however in the end it looked like they wanted and needed that game just a little bit more than Creighton.

My Jays continue to flounder in close Big East conference games (and they have since McBuckets graduated), and Xavier's recent woes are going to put a beating on their potential seed as well.

Basically you are going to have Nova as a likely 1 or 2 seed, Butler easily as a 4 seed currently (if they hold on to beat Nova), and then CU, Xavier and whoever gets in between SH, Providence and Marquette will probably be in the 7-11 seed range. This conference is just beating itself up right now from top to bottom, however if this craziness helps get in 6 teams, then I am okay with it... as long as the Jays don't fall too far (right now I can see them dropping to a 7 or even to an 8 seed).

Hey Nova, why couldn't you have shot like this on Saturday? We got the total opposite...

Parity is good in the long run guys. Its the best for the league. I know everyone wants top seeds but a competitive league top to bottom means that programs can rise and fall in the next few years. Do we really want more DePaul's (locked in the bottom)??

5 or 6 bids... its all good. all we need is one F4 team from all the bids!!!

Man Butler is really good this season. Not so high pre season expectations but a legitimate top 20 team this season. Huge props to Holtman and the Butler program this season.

Wow...Butler poised for a huge win.

Is there any conceivable way JT3 could remain after that loss?
