Teams 5 through 9 are beating each other up. Not a good scenario if you want extra bids.

Unless your team wasn't getting a bid anyway and could find themselves in 5th place deep into conference play. #NITBound #RuntheBET

Fckkkkk. I'm loving St. Johns. I don't have CBSSN... But had to stream it online. There is no way I would miss such an exciting team. These kids are growing so quickly. Watch out Everyone. Big East Tournament is at the garden baby!!! This is going to be exciting to watch.

Of course. If I'm a St. John's fan, I want the team to get on a roll. I'd want to hit the ground running next year. If that costs SH, or Marquette a bid this year, so be it. Would St. John's consider a CBI bid if they finish at about .500? Normally I'd say never to the CBI, but if you're ever going to play in the CBI, this would definitely be the year to do it. The team is learning to win, and a run in the CBI would only help speed things up.

St. John's might keep Seton Hall and Marquette from making the tournament. Handing out bad losses everywhere at this point.

Glad the Johnnies are starting to put it together a little ahead of schedule, but it doesn't help the league's chances at getting extra bids. Obviously, St. John's fans shouldn't care about that, just as I root for Villanova even though I know we are the type of win that would vault some of these teams into the dance.

Probably NIT or bust. I'd be okay with a CBI bid but I don't think the program would go for it. Thankfully you don't need a .500 or better record anymore for the NIT.

Jalen Brunson is laughing at anyone who didn't think he is the best PG in the conference.

SJ has no shot at NIT. It's merit based not based on programs. Also you do have to have a winning record to be considered
