Ugly end to a pretty good game... Jays fighting, but couldn't remember how to make a layup.

Can anybody give anything close to a reasonable explanation how Justin Patton couldn't guard Tyrique Jones. I can't get my head around that.

They did just go into Hinkle and get a win at Butler. Not an easy thing to do.

Obviously they're not as good without Mo, but Xavier didn't have Sumner. Xavier battled and got a win in a very, very tough place to win.

Xavier has had very good teams that couldn't go to Omaha and win.
