I did this last year and it's pretty cool- how bubble teams do each weekend- using Lunardi's bracketology because he does 16 teams right around the bubble....
last 4 byes(actually going to make it 5 since it's known)
28 Marquette- Sat @ Depaul
29 Oklahoma St- Sat @ West Virginia
30 Clemson- Sun @ Florida St
31 Michigan- Sat vs Ohio St
32 TCU Sat vs Texas

last 4 in-
33 Georgia Tech- Sat @ Wake Forest
34 Kansas St Sat @ Baylor
35 Wichita St Sat vs Illinois St
36 Miami- Sat @ NC State

1st 4 out
Wake Forest- Sat Georgia Tech
Tennessee- Sat @ Miss St
Seton Hall Sat @ Georgetown
California Thu Utah(won 77-75), Sat Colorado

next 4 out
Rhode Island Fri @ Davidson(won 70-59)
Texas Tech Sat vs Oklahoma
Georgia Sat @ South Carolina
Utah Thu @ California(lost 75-77), Sat @ Stanford

so looking at the schedule there are an abnormal number of road games for the bubble teams this weekend. 11 of the 17 teams play at least 1 road game from Thursday to Sunday. So Monday's bracket is going to have a ton of movement one would think at the bottom of the bracket. The 2 teams right behind Seton Hall both have a win since he did his bracket- 1 vs fellow bubble team Utah, another a decent road win.

Regardless of brackets, the team you don't want to play in this tournament is West Virginia.

Updated Lunardi:
Nova 1 E vs Oklahoma St/Dayton rd 2 in Buffalo
Xavier 6 S vs Clemson/Indiana winner, then Kentucky in Indianapolis
Marquette 9 W vs USC, then Gonzaga in Salt Lake City
Butler 6 W vs Miami then WVU in Buffalo
Seton Hall 12 FF MW vs Illinois St, then Duke, Wisconsin, in Milwaukee
Creighton 6 MW vs Wake Forest, then Florida in Orlando

Seton Hall last team in
Georgetown 7th team out

Boy Seton Hall would like being in, but what a brutal 1st weekend.

the Xavier draw would be interesting. The advantage that Kentucky would have crowd wise is they pretty much will know in a week or 2 that they would be most likely headed there, and can snatch up tickets. Xavier won't have that.

I'm not so sure. If they can't turn you over, they're just a pretty good team. Not great on either end of the floor in the half court.

I would say that I wouldn't want to see them in the 2nd game of the weekend where fatigue becomes an issue.

Agreed.

But they can blow anyone out. Their average margin of victory is 24 points in their wins. I don't know about "pretty good if they can't turn you over." They have lost their 5 games by a combined total of only 18 points - 2 in OT. They have already beaten Baylor, Kansas, @Iowa State, and @Virginia. They are ridiculously dangerous.

They've also lost to Temple, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, OSU, and KSU, while just barely beating Texas & Texas A&M. They maybe ridiculously dangerous, but they're also infinitely beatable if you don't turnover the ball 16+ times. They're a team that can beat any 1 or 2 seed and lose to any 12 or 13 seed.

So you're saying that they're "ridiculously dangerous" and that "they can beat any 1 or 2 seed." That's what I'm saying. I think we have an agreement here. They're a dangerous team capable of pulling off big upsets.

Just for the record, when WVU beat Kansas, KU committed 13 TOs, and when they beat UVA, 14 TOs.

I think the question is going to be where they're going to be seeded. Their profile is one of the most interesting ones- and will be fascinating to see if they sit in the committee's top 16 on Saturday...

In Sagarin, they are #2 right now.
In Ken Pom, they are #5 right now.
In RPI, they are #34 right now. #71 SOS and #248 OOC SOS.
