Rob Anderson said rally towels, CU going all out for the game, should look good on tv.

I have the opposite gut feeling, I think Creighton is going to pull away and win comfortably.

Also a possibility. I just feel like, after that performance against DePaul, Jay Wright is going to have his team running like a machine and they may very well be unstoppable tomorrow. It's no knock against Creighton, I just feel like Villanova often responds to disappointment by going into unbeatable mode. Kind how they responded to the BET loss last year by winning the NCAA Tournament with an average victory margin over 20 ppg. You know they weren't happy with how they played on Wednesday and if they respond as I expect, I don't think anybody in the country would be able to beat them tomorrow. Creighton's actually one of the few teams who may be able to keep it competitive.

I get why Raft isn't available- he'll be doing a CBS game and thus isn't available on the weekends, but that's not Gus.
I agree, but I think FOX likes at times keeping their guys kinda local, to keep travel cost down. That being said, I love Gus, but think Joe Davis is really good.

I totally agree with you on Joe Davis.

But it's small time thinking by Fox. Even if you had thought that preseason- to not doing it now with the years that we've seen from Nova and Creighton- you have got to change it. Like I said, it's totally inexcusable. Think about this. If this were ESPN, you better believe I guess Dan Schuman and Jay Bilas who is their #1 team would be at the game.

If Creighton wins, are they ranked #1 come Monday?

The #2 team (UCLA) lost earlier this week.

The answer to my question SHOULD be yes, but will the AP writers give them the #1 spot?

As a Johnnies fan, there's nothing I'd love more than to watch #1 Creighton next week in person.

Sorry Nova, I've been rooting for you every game since the start of the Big Dance, but I want to see Creighton here.

I think it will be tough to vote CU #1 if they win. Whether or not anyone wants to admit it, the Jays have yet to leave the comfy confines of the C-Link vs a big time opponent. When you look at their resume' vs a team like Baylor the one signature win away from home is lacking. IMO we'll see if CU really has what it takes to be a FF contender when it goes to X on 1/16. Interestingly the last 13 Conf games are going to be a real test for CU. Away games at: X, G'town, Nova, BU, SHU and Marq. I could see the Jays jumping out to a quick lead in Conf only to be slowly reeled in on the back half of Conf play.

But looking forward to a good game tomorrow. I'm glad it's an early start. Hoping Jays fans are a little sleepy at the start.
Go Nova!

If, and that's a big if, Creighton wins, I don't think they hardly move. I doubt they drop Nova or UCLA below Creighton. maybe Louisville drops for losing to VA, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least for VA to jump Creighton because of its win. IMO, Creighton is about maxed out at 9 or 10 unless we get to something closer to 18-0. Just don't see pollsters being sold on Creighton, yet.

Fox changed announcers once...it was supposed to be Kevin Kugler and Nick Bahe and got changed (I believe after both Villanova and Creighton won on Wednesday) to Davis and Jackson.

Are Davis and Jackson the #2 team? Is there any chance Gus said he had his heart set on the X/GTown game? I don't know how these things work but it does seem odd that the top PBP guy isn't doing the game.
