Actually. That depends POV. Short term is bad for the Big East... but long-term we need SJU to rise up. Great win, keeps fans in touch and may be the game that can help SJU draw some of its fans back to MSG for the rest of the year. You dont wanna have such a huge divide between the Top half and bottom half. What makes the league exciting and draws fans is that any given night a Big East team can compete

1) I only hate Villanova and Georgetown primarily due to the years of refusals to play Creighton ("but we are for your joining the conference" - 2013). A consensus vote got us in the BE and...

2) I am merely of the opinion that Butler and X are overrated this season. I am cheering for St Johns all season because i picked them 6th in the standings (and i like their Talent). In have grudging respect for both programs. Creighton has a good series history with Xavier. As for the First 3 years in conference - it is what it is. CU has acclimated well, we have some appropriate level talent now, let's roll.

3) i am a contrarian person and like to pot-stir. If the majority is zigging, ol' git will zag. I will say that i like the opportunity the conference offers for growth and program building.
