A 3-1 weekend with a huge win by Butler over the Hoosiers and a nice Hoya victory over the Cuse. X-Men take down another ACC team. Last few before conference play starts.

12/20: Creighton vs. Arizona State
12/21: St. John's vs. Syracuse
12/23: Providence vs. Boston College
Seton Hall vs. Rutgers

ACC : 6-2
B1G: 6-10
B XII: 0-2
PAC 12: 6-2
SEC: 6-1

Overall: 24-17

Go Big East!

A mid-week Big East feast. Two road wins as the Jay stay unbeaten and handle the Sun Devils and St. John's finally joins the fun and smokes the Cuse in the Dome. Two more rivalry games up Friday.

12/23: Providence vs. Boston College
Seton Hall vs. Rutgers

ACC : 7-2
B1G: 6-10
B XII: 0-2
PAC 12: 7-2

Overall: 26-17

Interesting Take on Mid-Majors vs. "Top 6 Conferences," Doesn't classify MWC, A10 or AAC as midmajors, just not "top 6"...

http://www.fanragsports.com/cbb/mid-maj ... d-gonzaga/

Last year, there were 33 “pure upset” games in which mid-majors (one-bid conference schools) defeated teams from the top six conferences in college basketball (Big Ten, ACC, Big 12, Pac-12, SEC and Big East) and/or nationally ranked teams. Through Wednesday, there have been 31 such games, punctuated by Fairfield’s win over Boston College on Wednesday. Boston College actually accounts for three of these games and Connecticut and Penn State two apiece. The Big Ten lost seven of these games, the SEC four, and the Big East three.
