Gumby, c'mon man the only reason Nova won was because they were lucky with their schedule. Which, oddly enough, is the only reason they're 108-13 since the start of 2013. It's their lucky schedule man. Imagine if they didn't have that lucky schedule for the last four years? They would be a bottom team in the BE. Get with it.

Yep. Home vs X, out to the Century Link where CU is terrific, H vs SHU and then to Hinkle. Clearly a conspiracy. Later at SHU and at G'town (who were expected to be in the top 3 last year) in succession. Those friggin' lucky cats. Val is JW's puppet.

I think something kind of important to say. The Big East setting the schedule for Nova like that where they don't see top teams back to back like- that- it's actually a smart thing.

And like we said earlier, this didn't happen as much this year as in past years. Last near, Nova only once in the regular season played teams that were getting votes in the polls back to back games. That was #32 Seton Hall and #18 Butler early.

"Silly" is not spelled "important," FYI

Maybe the reason Nova's schedule looks "easy" is because they are really, really good and are generally thought of as better than just about anyone they would face???

And using the polling numbers on a given day as a test of someone's schedule, when that schedule was made the summer before play began, is beyond "silly." I used "silly" instead of stronger words because, you know, the Christmas spirit.

Have I missed the post where you opined your theory that the only reason Villanova won the National Championship is because selection committee devised a plan to find a way for them to win 6 games in a row without having to play two good teams back to back? (okay, may have lost a little of the spirit there...)
