Out of curiosity anybody know the Big East record vs the AAC?

Overall: 15-3

Villanova: 4-1 [Temple 3x, UCF; lost to UCONN in NCAA]
Xavier: 3-0 [Cincinnati 3x]
Butler: 2-0 [Cincinnati, Temple]
Seton Hall: 2-0 [USF 2x]
St. Johns: 2-0 [Tulane 2x]
Providence: 1-0 [Memphis]
Creighton: 1-1 [Tulsa; Tulsa]
Georgetown: 0-1 [UCONN]
Marquette/Depaul: 0-0 [N/A]

The most interesting thing about looking that up, other than it shows absurd dominance, former A-10 members Butler and Xavier have only played one game between the two of them against the A-10 -- Xavier's win over UD a couple of years ago.

I think it was appropriate that Xavier/Butler for the most part avoided playing the A-10 for the initial years. You don't wanna have comparisons between the level of play of the members that left and those that stayed. If they were to lose to an A-10 opponent it would look terrible. Now that the separation between the A-10 and Big East is clear they can schedule freely whoever they want.

We can add two more wins for the BE against the A-10 with the Friars win over UMass and the Hoyas win over La Salle.

Creighton also beat Cinn in the tournie a couple of years ago w D Mac. Not sure if that has been included.

I think Cincy was in the Big East at that time.
