It will be interesting the race for 2nd (first???? :D ) in the BE. I'm sure happy we get Nova and Butler at home before that X game in Cincy Jan 16th... it would be cool to pull Hanson out of a hat for that game, but I don't think he'll be cleared till MSG.

I'm really confused where Georgetown is gong to finish if PC is in 8th. I guess SJU could still turn it around and free up a spot.

Don't know why it is bothering me as much as it is, but Gary Parrish is a dolt.
He dropped X 12 spots to #18....after going on the road and losing to a top 10 team that also has wins over Oregon and Louisville. That's just ludicrous to me.

it's only because of the teams around them. You had teams just below them getting huge wins. Like Indiana over UNC and UCLA over Kentucky. Gonzaga over Arizona. It sucks for X, but it's probably quite realistic.

Season is still young. If anyone is putting teams in order now they're doing so prematurely. No one should count their chickens yet. The BE is going to be very competitive top to bottom.

This is almost comical, this board does it before, during and after the season with gusto. You have done it multiple times in this thread alone.

Obviously we rank the teams for fun, and if the season ended today. But if anyone views those rankings as definitive or a clear representation of how it will all shake out then they're premature.

really love the schedule for NEXT Saturday- 1st one without much college football....

DePaul vs Temple
UMass @ PC
Villanova vs Notre Dame
Georgetown vs LaSalle
Wisconsin @ Marquette
Cincy @ Butler
Utah @ Xavier

probably the best OOC day of the season quite frankly! You would think game time that Notre Dame and Cincy will both be ranked new to go along with Wisconsin. Utah isn't bad. Temple I don't think would get ranked, but it wouldn't be the most shocking thing either. Wisconsin already is ranked.

Smart job by the schools to have such a good schedule for next Saturday.
