Hard to win games when you don't make a shot outside of 5 feet in the second half and overtime(not an exaggeration, actual stat from the game.) since they won it's just another game in the win category that nobody will even look at by tournament time but if they lost it would have been in that bad loss category all season.

Losing to Missouri on a neutral court would have been a bad loss by itself. Losing to Missouri this season as game 1 of a tournament would have been even worse because it would have put Xavier into the loser's bracket.

Xavier has definitely realized the difficulties of those tournaments. In Mack's first 6 seasons he went 7-11 with losses including UTEP, Long Beach State X2, Old Dominion, Pacic, USC, and Hawaii. Thankfully Xavier has gone 6-0 in the last two years.
