The St John's game is last chance to get a quality win in Atlantis. Tomorrow's game(LSU/ODU) won't help them at all.

The Butler game is big because you want to see Arizona for a chance to get ranked. And Vandy really just isn't that good so don't want to lose to a team like that.

Obviously winning this game would give SHU a nice SOS boost, but it's not like a loss kills them. They have enough quality neutral/road games that their SOS should be solid regardless

a loss to Florida and they really don't have a guaranteed OOC team that would be a top 50 win. Cal and South Carolina are possible- but no locks. Florida themselves would be better than anything they have, and then Gonzaga and Iowa St/Miami would be at least as good. Plus you don't want to just get in the tourney, but you want to get as far away from the 7/10 line as you can possibly get.

The win at Iowa will be big by the end of the year

Not so much... And Butler let Vandy back in the game to start the second half...

they're projected to be a .500 team end of the year- projected I think 9 or 10 in the Big Ten. I seriously doubt it's going to be a big win for Seton Hall.

Rough half for Powell but decent by the team overall. Don't mind the defensive approach of forcing Florida to shoot the ball as they haven't done it well this year, but too many of these threes are wide open shots that nobody's gonna miss.

Disappointing loss. It seemed that they had this game in hand in the first half. But allowing 2 scores before the end of the half and then giving up the lead at the start of the 2nd half completely changed the dynamics of this game.

A little premature to get exercised about this. What will matter is a team's record vs the top 50 in March. No way of knowing now who those teams will be.

But we pretty much know that Gonzaga and Iowa St/Miami will be top 50. IF anything, it proves my point even more- Iowa, South Carolina, and Cal are possible. I'd much prefer to have the known quantities than needing to count on Iowa, South Carolina, and Cal.
