Three tough games, one decent opponent in College of Charleston (Nova should still win big though).
I would give St John's a better than 22% chance of winning. Especially if they can be more disciplined with shot selection and not panic if they get behind. MSU isn't playing very well right now. Hopefully that continues tonight.

I guess you could argue Cuse should have been ranked when we beat them last year eventually making it to the Final Four, but we need to start stealing some of these games. Every other day it seems some no name school pulls a big upset (see Fort Wayne over Indiana). I want to join the upset party. We have a chance to beat MSU tonight but I can't see them going 2-2. I think they are too good. Ironically, I'd feel better if they were undefeated facing us...I'm big on the law of averages.

9 or 10 of those losses to ranked opponents came last season. Most know that team wasn't gonna consistently beat anyone (ranked or not). I'm somewhat a believer in law of averages, but not in the text or form you use it. For example: Flipping a coin. If it lands on heads three or four times in row, then I know it'll soon land on tails.

In sports, it's different. I recall Syracuse once beat Seton Hall about 27 consecutive games in a row. Eventually, the Pirates broke the streak, but I don't think the law of averages came into play. If it did, then Seton Hall would've beaten them sooner, IMO.

I view tonight's game in a similar fashion. If the Johnnies win, it won't have anything to do with the law of averages, per beating a ranked team. It'll just mean they won. The law of averages with the way you use it is similar to what I told someone a year ago (this person and I was talking about football), which is Gambler's fallacy.

Regardless, it'll be damn good to see the Johnnies to get a win tonight. Goooo Johnnies!

I'm seeing 1-3 tonight. I think Nova wins, St. John's loses a tight one, and Georgetown and DePaul lose by double digits.

Hoping for 4-0 though.

We need Georgetown or SJU to win and it would be a good day. I don't expect anything out of Depaul and Nova better win.

I hope my guy Morie n Lovett can give MSU a game tonight.

my Cats should roll CofC and I think GTown can take OK State....that should be a heck of a game.

DePaul will take down Missouri State!!!!I really want to see their program get back to where it once was.

It's early but both St. John's and Georgetown have small leads.

They all look so mellow, like they don't give a shit or they are in a daze.

it's amazing how a lot of teams in the old Big East that were really good there are struggling so much now. I mean, UConn, Georgetown, Marquette, Syracuse even a bit, Pitt some as well.
