No, I've heard of him, I just don't think he's relevant as far as sports writers go. His pieces just seem lazy as they only repeat common knowledge and lack any sort of relevant research.

I mean, we're not oldest team but I'd call us decidedly average, if not on the older side. Seems like a really lazy "well they were really young last year so they must be at least a little young this year."

Ha, he also said our concern will be lack of a true point, so that should tell you how much he looked into it. If you've ever watched either edmond or quentin shoot at all you'd know they are not sliding over to the 2 anytime soon.

Pretty much sums up my point about how lazy this is. He did the same thing with Seton Hall. All he said was basically, "oh, Whitehead's gone so they won't be good." Well if this hack actually "watched firsthand in March when Whitehead vaulted that team in a style that was vintage Big East" he would have seen that Khadeen Carrington, not Isaiah Whitehead, was Seton Hall's best player in their first 2 BET games.

Just made me realize how young PC is, no Seniors and of the Juniors only two that have played more than one year of college basketball. Cartwright and Lindsey. Might be a tough year. LOL.

Yeah, I don't get it that he doesn't know Ed is our PG. He was voted Pre-season 1st Team for chrissakes.

To be honest, I think many pundits have been very fair to Seton Hall. Whitehead was your clear go-to guy. He took you to another level. Too many times, fanbases convince themselves that losing an NBA level player is not going to hurt them much. If you are Duke or Kentucky you can just get another Whitehead to plug in. But unfortunately SH is not Seton Hall or Kentucky. Same goes for PC losing Dunn. Same for Marquette losing Ellenson. Seton Hall still has a nice solid core, but without the star PG, it will put a lot of pressure on others to fill the big hole. IMO Seton Hall will do no better than 4th and possibly as worse as 7th. They have nice role players, but lost their go-to scorer. Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
