It's a secret but heard Northeastern beat PC today by 15, led by 3 at half...Kyron Cartwright sat out w minor injury #PCFriars

Kalif Young also did not play, but not sure how much he would have affected the outcome.

Went to Xavier's scrimmage. They won pretty easily, but were very sloppy. Definitely going to need to shake off the rust quick because the thanksgiving tournament is less than 2 weeks away.

Northeastern picked to finish 7th in the CAA. Still these scrimmages usually mean nothing. Especially when a key player sits out.

How did you go to Xavier's closed scrimmage against Georgia?

St. John's lost to URI by 13. The Rams are a preseason top 25 team. Lost the first half by 14 and won the second by a point.

Told the St John's-Rhode Island scrimmage was very competitive. Yankuba Sima stood out for #sjubb

Dawgs beat SVSU 77-50 last night.

SVSU lost by just 10 points to Michigan State the other night. It showed. They had a nice team.

Woodson was great again. He'll be a nice piece for Butler this year. He's very gifted. I'm guessing his stats at Memphis were so-so because Pastner is a crap coach. Kelan was Kelan. He was the best player on the floor and was on a completely different level than anyone else out there. McDermott had the best game of his young career. He'll probably play ~10mpg this year to provide a little length and 3-point shooting.

Still won't know much about this team until next Wednesday. Saturday's opener should be a cake-walk.

Supposedly, Marcus LoVett, Tariq Owens, and Shamorie Ponds played well, per reports, too.

Sorry, but, if I was a St. John's fan, I would stop spending so much time looking for the bright points in a loss to an A10 team. At some point when you have been losing for so long, a loss is a loss is a loss (even a scrimmage). A change in culture, where losses are viewed as unacceptable might help turn things around.
