As a fan of neither program, I thought Cincinnati came out looking like the bigger men. Tu Holloway sitting there and telling everyone that "we gangsters" was not a good look. The Myles Davis situation doesn't help. I do not have all the details but it certainly seems like he has acted pretty aggressively and disrespectfully towards this woman. I certainly wouldn't say it deserves jail time or a permanent suspension with the information available, but it certainly seems from an outsider's perspective that he wouldn't be the best person to be representing your alma mater.
JP Macura? I want to party with that guy.

I was at the game and while both sides contributed to the brawl, UC's players were the prime instigators....especially the thug who sucker-punched the XU player trying to break up the fracas. And Cronin's post brawl penalties were a joke frankly, full of sanctimonious bull. Of course ESPN blew up the "gangsta" line, but it was way misinterpreted by the media and, apparently, by you as well. Street talk was all it was, and no worse than the smack that goes on constantly during games.

It's the same program, same coach. I think some of those players ended up playing in the Big East. They brought that history into the BEast with them.X-man wrote:I was at the game and while both sides contributed to the brawl, UC's players were the prime instigators....especially the thug who sucker-punched the XU player trying to break up the fracas. I don't necessarily disagree with any of this. I'm just sharing an outsider's perspective of the event. "Bad boys of the BEast" isn't something factual. It's based on perspective. For me, this event added to the perspective that Xavier were the "bad boys."
All this being said, X is one of my favorite programs to cheer for. Love the play style and what y'all have brought to the Big East.

Archie Miller had two guys accused of rape play for him and two more playing now for Ohio penal after robbing students in their rooms, but I never hear them called the "bad boys of the A-10". C'mon.
