Following up on fenwayfriar's post, according to the scoutfriars board, Providence won by around 15 tonight over Carleton University (school is in Ottawa).

Providence won 87-69 over Carleton. Providence was down 11 at halftime. I know it's just an exhibition but suprised who lead the Friars in scoring. Xavier's decomit/transfer Eddie Ekiyor had 9 points 6 rebounds.

Not that it means anything but Marquette beat Dayton by "a narrow margin."

Actually I think UD will be very solid this year. I know these scrimmages don't mean much but UD is very solid from the 1-4 just lacks a 5.

I'm sure Dayton will be very good, I personally put their chances at the NCAA tourney at 90 ish percent, while ours are much much lower imo. It's good to get the w but without knowing how hard the teams were playing, what percentage of the scrimmage was purely situational testing, etc I can't draw too many conclusions. Always proud of our guys and looking forward to seeing what we can do this year.

Creighton pulled away in 2H, beat Mizzou by 14. Hearing big FT difference in Creighton's favor; MU staff encouraged. no Walton or Barnett

I think Mizzou probably stinks this year so this sounds about right...
