Big fan of Trevon but not sure why you are singling Josh Hart as an example of some ranking injustice. If anything I think JH should be Top 10 on this list. Do you think Edmond is 20 spots better than Trevon? If you applied the same criticism to him, can you justify the 20 player gap between them?

Also your claim of TB being a "better scorer" can not be supported with data. Hart averaged 15.5 PPG while Trevon averaged 15.1. Hart shot 51% from the field, TB shot 42%. Bluett is the better 3 pt shooter (40% vs 36%) and shot more 3's, but I'm not sure how that makes him a better scorer. If anything Hart demonstrated that he can score in a greater variety of ways than Trevon. I also recall seeing JH in the Top 10 of offensive player efficiency last year. So he is by no means a gunner, with empty stats.

And I don't think there is much of an argument that can be made when looking at his entire game. Hart is the better rebounder and defender. I'm a homer but the kid is just so solid in every aspect of the game and seldom takes any play off.
will go down as one of the all-time great Nova players.

So while I may agree with you that Bluett should be higher on the list, I disagree that it should be at the expense of Josh Hart.

Hart trumps Trevor and it's not even close. Complete player on both sides of the ball and the main thing. Hart = WINNER. I'm pretty sure that had a huge part.

He left Butler because Brandon Miller was the coach and at that point they didn't have a great relationship. Another reason he left is that Dunham was just a year ahead of him and had he stayed at Butler he would be a Senior this year and likely would have had to play behind Dunham at the 2 guard for 3 years, which likely wasn't appealing to him since Butler tried playing him as a 3 and given his smaller size as a freshman, did not work out well. A more humorous take is that Brown graduated from Mater Dei, so of course he's going to transfer. http://www.espn.com/college-sports/recr ... ring-often

I'd say this is one instance in which the transfer worked out well for both parties, and kudos to Brown for making the most of it.

Hart over Bluiett is a pretty easy choice. Hart is a better offensively and years above Trevon defensively.

Yes, but you have to also consider that Trevon is a year younger than Hart as well and has been putting up those numbers. Tre's on pace to be a 2000 point scorer at X and one of the best players we've ever had if he stays all 4 years, which who knows if he'll be forced to or not, depending on his draft stock. I don't get the sense that that is appreciated most of the time. Hart is a great player and deserves everything that he gets and is said about him, but Tre is a baller too and deserves his due. And I already said I thought Ed was ranked too highly by comparison.

As a final note, I AM NOT ATTACKING JOSH HART IN ANY WAY., just saying Tre is also a really good basketball player.

More on topic, these rankings were awful and all over the place. Guys that haven't really proven anything getting a lot of hype respect.

I think you could have made your case that Trevon was a very good player without needing to reference Hart or Jenkins. Also you have to understand and recognize that last years tourney run provided both Nova players more exposure and notoriety. Had Trevon made the E8 or FF and made some big plays on the national stage, I don't doubt he'd be higher.

DraftExpress has Sumner @ #23 and Hart @ #50. So guess it's all relative.

Relative to what? Draft Express doesn't have Trevon in its Top 100. Mikal Bridges is #80. So with it being "all relative" what should we infer from that?

"relative" as in who one perceives to be better. Opinions differ.

Draft projections are based on so much more than someone's ability as a college player.
