Georgetown Opens New Practice Facility

The facility is on par with the best facilities in the country. It's so expensive because of being in DC. But it is bigger than any other facility. Goodman even said in his tour that he'd never seen a facility with as much practice room as this one. The Hoyas have been able to recruit well with crap facilities some of the worst in the league. Now they have the best in the league. I think starting 2018 class you'll start seeing it pay dividends. But it will also help on the court. Better facilities players able to practice whenever they want no splitting time with volley ball and women's basketball is huge. Also the gym is more spacious better replicating shooting in the Verizon center. Better weight room facilities and sports health means stronger more in shape players. This is a big deal!

Congrats to G'Town. We really need G'Town to be that constant #2 or #3 team. Nova, Xavier, and G'Town have to be the leaders of this conference until the more inconsistent ones i.e. SJ can get it together. I remember being worried whenever we played G'Town when G'Town was seemingly always ranked and powerful. For whatever reason, they have come much more down to earth and it's not as fun. We need G'Town to be the national presence it was during the old Big East.

Took the online tour of the G'twn Thompson Center. I love all the "finishing touches"...and they actually have a lobby! Great facility (including the Cryo booth) and well worth whatever it cost...just plain Excellent! A hale and hearty well done to the Georgetown University Administration, staff, and the Athletic Department. Well done.
