Discussions about college basketball these days always seem to be about elite freshmen because of the age of one and done we are in. That's not me saying I think Spellman is or would be a one and done, cause I don't think that, but nova and the conference would benefit from all the positive press that surrounds a really good freshmen.
Obviously it's not going to kill the conference and it's not going to kill nova either. So what's the plan now from a basketball perspective nova fans? Is that painter kid going to get thrust into major minutes or do you think nova just goes small a lot?
Daryl Reynolds will have to step up. Did pretty well when Ochefu was hurt but the Cats will be thin up front.

Then again if Jay can land Lonnie Walker next years class would be a monster haul, with top 20 5 stars Spellman & Walker, plus Samuels(#41) and Cosby-Roundtree(#93). Hopefully Dylan Painter can step up and play a vital role in helping out Darryl Reynolds in the paint.

And before any of you homers start bitching and moaning about this wouldn't happen at the chosen schools, the exact same thing with the exact same result happened to Kansas with Ben Mclemore.

On the bright side, it *should* make things more interesting for the other nine programs and tighten up the race.
