Anyone who just clicked on to purchase season tickets could have saw that on Sunday. It got taken down. It just list non-conference games with times that seem completely wrong.

the other thing that hasn't been discussed here- moving the marathon to MLK day- schools will be in session so the crowds should be much more vocal.

Great idea on MLK.
Actually, we could have a marathon every Saturday.

Don't most schools give MLK day off?

yes, but the students would still be around- especially knowing there was a big game that day. Totally different than NYE/NYD time frame, where the schools would be on winter break.

They do but he means in session as in not winter break. Most students will still be on campus and have the day off so going to a day game is actually doable.

Yes, but the classes would have begun for the Spring Semester

one thing that we really didn't touch on- but you can clearly see- the matchups for the marathon are IMO clearly better than before...

I mean you have 5 pretty much known tournament teams going into this season. Nova, Seton Hall(they play each other), Xavier, Creighton(they play each other), and Butler. So 2 games with those known teams- and Butler gets an at least decent Marquette team. Georgetown gets PC- in a matchup of 2 teams just out of the tourney.

Also the other thing is with it being on MLK day, there's a lot fewer commitments of usage of buildings vs on NYE(where some schools could never host)..

it's a GREAT compromise I feel.
