First I want to make clear I have nothing against Butler even though everytime I see them in a preseason poll I say how they're overrated but how can a team who was a 9 seed and at one point in the season was trending out of the tournament that lost Kellen Dunham and Rosie Jones be top 25? I need to stop with the negativity on Butler...

Yeah don't get the love for Butler. They have a few nice peices but I don't see them being better than they were last year with what they're losing.

I don't get it either, but my guess is that they are expecting the perimeter defense to be drastically better. We should have more length and athleticism on the perimeter this year (this was our biggest weakness last year). I don't know how much better it will be, but it should be better.

Am I missing something about Wisconsin? I realize they upset X in the tournament but at the end of the day X was a 2 seed and Wisconsin was a 7 seed. Do they have some 5 star recruits coming in?

Yeah, that's something every Jay fan has been wondering. They are coming to Omaha Nov. 14 for Gavitt Tipoff, so we'd like them to be ranked as high as possible. That said, any X fan can attest to their toughness last year, and they are basically bringing the nucleus of that team back. Now two years away from Bo Ryan, no new big talent (addressing your question) and all those losses from last year... big question mark and a great test/ opportunity for Creighton at home.

Speaking of OOC, we also have NC state in the Paradise Jam, so another ranked team is nice for us to see on our schedule.
