Ratings are gonna suck for those games but its better than ESPN3 and most of those are crappy nonconference games. Not sure what the current subscription base is but I now get it in HD so it must be more accessible.

I wish Comcast wasn't the worst company in the country and they would actually offer FS2. Pretty amazing that for how much money I pay for the premium sports package that I still can't get FS2 (even in SD). For any other Comcast customers, I would recommend calling 877-824-2288 to request they add FS2 or go to https://customer.xfinity.com/help-and-support/cable-tv/channel-availability-faqs to request the channel. I just did both. Very frustrating.

I get FS2 on my $25 package of Sling TV.

Wish I could get Sling, but I need NESN for the Sox and Bruins.

Also, regarding the release of the Big East schedule, Big East Coast Bias did a good job of breaking down each team's TV schedule outlining how many times they'll be on each channel: http://www.bigeastcoastbias.com/2016/9/13/12907510/2016-17-big-east-basketball-tv-schedule-breakdown-fox-cbs-espn

did a quick breakdown
tier 1- FS1, Fox, ESPN, ESPN2
tier 2- others

Butler 18/10
Creighton 14/15
DePaul 20/10
Georgetown 23/7
Marq 18/11
Prov 12/18
SH 18/9
SJ 17/11
Vil 22/5
X 21/6

Amazing that DePaul has more tier 1 games this year than anyone by Georgetown, Nova, and Xavier.

And man, no love at all for Providence. And the Creighton schedule is pretty amazing as well.

You did that in Central Standard Time just to confuse me.

Big East Bias suggests Fox execs don't value the Omaha market.

None of the FS1 numbers are all that surprising, though it does appear that little faith is being shown in Providence as they rank with the fewest amount of broadcasts with 11. This is down from 16 a year ago. Providence finds themselves paired with Creighton for the fewest FS1 broadcasts as well. The Bluejays will be fielding a team that could make the NCAA Tournament but will not be shown on FS1 as often as DePaul or St. John’s. What’s the cause? Markets, perhaps, as they will be resting on the NY and Chicago markets for those teams, I guess.

To break down the Providence schedule even further:

-The 11 games PC has on FS1 is the lowest in the league, tied with Creighton. Every other team has at least 14 games on FS1. Most teams have anywhere from 15-20 games on FS1.
-The 4 games PC has on FS2 is second in the league to Creighton, which has 6. Most teams have anywhere from 0-3 games on FS2. DePaul somehow has 0 games on FS2.
-PC has 5 games on FSN, which is tied for the league lead with DePaul. Most teams in the league have anywhere from 0-3 games on FSN.
-PC leads the league in games on CBSSN, with 7 games. The next highest is Creighton and Marquette, with 5 games. Most teams have 3-4 games on CBSSN.
-PC has 1 game on FOX. Most other teams have 1-2 games on FOX, with the exception of Villanova (5) and Xavier (3).
-PC has 1 game on B1G Network, which is part of the Gavitt Games. Six other teams have 1 game on BTN.
-PC has 1 game on ESPNU, against BC. Butler is the only team without at least 1 game on the ESPN family of networks. Georgetown leads the way with 5 games on ESPN/ESPN2. Next is Xavier with 4 games own ESPN2/ESPNU.
-3 teams have a game on CBS: Georgeotwn, Villanova, and Xavier.
-A few other teams have 1 game on various other channels: Pac-12 Network, Fox College Sports, and AXS (whatever that is).

Do you get ESPN and ESPN2 on the $25 package? It looks like you don't and you have to upgrade to their $40 package to have FS1, FS2, ESPN and ESPN2.

The BIG is a subscription, so not many of us will be watching unless we pay for a month and then cancel I guess,
