NCAA Tourney Games Are Leaving State of North Carolina...

NCAA Tournament games have been moved out of North Carolina.
UNC and Duke lose their ridiculously unfair home court advantage.

Now if the NCAA would only vacate UNC's three cheatin' championships it would be perfect.

Providence hosted two rounds in 2016, and I'd lovecthem to return again soon. Which of our other cities could also host this year?

It will be interesting to see how aggressively other cities try to secure the 2017 NCAA men's tournament that Greensboro is losing. It would be a lot of fun to see it move to the Garden or to DC.

I really wish Cincinnati could host a round one time. Its a major city and has ton of CBB fans nearby:

- UC
- XU
- OSU
- Dayton
- IU
- Butler
- Purdue
- UK
- UL
Xavier

There are a lot of viable candidates for sure, but I suspect the NCAA will end up placing it a different ACC locale. One idea would be the place it in Dayton after the First Four.

saw someone suggested for this year that maybe it goes to Columbia.

All pro arena's out due to pro sports....
MSG- Knicks at home Tue/Thu Rangers at home Fri
Verizon- Wizards at home Wed/Fri Caps at home Tue/Thu
Wells Fargo- Flyers home Mon/Wed/Sun, 76ers home Fri/Sun
Barclays totally out- Islanders home Mon/Wed/Sat. Nets home Tue/Thu/Sun
Prudential Center out- Devils home Tue/Thu/Sun

MSG already would be out anyways due to the fact that they are hosting a regional.

just looked- one pro arena that could do it is TD Garden in Boston. They have a Celtics game on Wednesday before, but that's it. Given the dates that are needed are Fri/Sun, that would work- they would have the arena Thu-Sun which is what they need.

NCAA VP Dan Gavitt said Greensboro replacement will be in East and South Carolina sites are now a possibility since the state removed the Confederate Flag from its state capitol in Columbia.

YUM Center could be an option.

Already have a tourney site in Indianapolis, so doubt that would work. I really think it'll be Columbia, SC.

That would be great...especially if X is playing.
