2) Yes I'm a homer so what? I'm not illogical though. I'm hardly on the gtmo level of homer. Pretty funny how obsessed you are with me that you'd go back and find an old thread.

3) I believe that the Hoyas had turned a corner at that game. Unfortunately Bradley Hayes got injured and missed the rest of the season after that game and the Hoyas lost out. The Hoyas lost 3 of those games by 1 possession. If the Hoyas win those 3 games they're at 10-8 17-14 going into the BE tournament instead of 7-11 14-17. They also would've finished in 4th place. Making the tournament still would've been a stretch due to the early damage we did to ourselves. But who knows. Point is I don't think the Hoyas were as far away from a tournament level team as some people portray them. We'll need to overhaul somethings to get back to where we want to be, but it sounds like those changes are coming.

...and I was given the impression that we were buds... :o  Well, thanks for the shoutout at least.

Came across ECU's OOC schedule this morning. Other than inducing vomit, I was overcome with a huge sigh of relief that the C7 never had to share one second of conference affiliation with ECU/Tulane in the Big East. Would have epically killed all of our RPI's instantly. Many 300+ RPI programs on the docket from last year on this year's schedule.

Nov. 11 Fri. GRAMBLING Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 8 p.m.
Nov. 14 Mon. N.C. A&T Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 7 p.m.
Nov. 17 Thurs. Charlotte Charlotte, N.C. 7 p.m.

SAVANNAH INVITATIONAL
Nov. 20 Sun. STETSON Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 1 p.m.
Nov. 22 Tues. FLORIDA A&M Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 7 p.m.
Nov. 25 Fri. Mercer Savannah, Ga. 5 p.m.
Nov. 26 Sat. Air Force or Akron Savannah, Ga. 5 or 7:30 p.m.

Nov. 29 Tues. HAMPTON Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 7 p.m.
Dec. 3 Sat. N.C. CENTRAL Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 5 p.m.
Dec. 6 Tues. Virginia Charlottesville, Va. TBA
Dec. 15 Thurs. COLLEGE OF CHARLESTON Greenville, N.C. ASN/ESPN3 7 p.m.
Dec. 20 Tues. UNC Wilmington Wilmington, N.C. TBA
Dec. 22 Thurs. PRESBYTERIAN Greenville, N.C. ESPN3 7 p.m

If I could choose the opening day/night match-ups, I'd like to see these:
Georgetown @ Villanova
Xavier @ Creighton
Marquette @ Butler
Seton Hall @ St. Johns
DePaul @ Providence

The only thing would be if they won most all of those games, they wouldn't kill RPI's. Remember your opponents record is 50% of the RPI. So if ECU loses for discussions sake only to Charlotte, Virginia, and UNC Wilmington- so going 8-1.8 by RPI record- that's not going to hurt much at all. Even if you add a loss to Charleston- they'd be 7.4-3.4. Hardly something that would kill all of our RPI's instantly.

Creighton opens at home on December 28th against Seton Hall. Looking forward to seeing the TV schedule, I hope we atleast get the same amount of FOX games as last year.

I love the opportunity for the Jays early. Open with Seton Hall, and then welcome the defending national champs to the CLINK. Should be an electric atmosphere.
