except that it's not bad for the BE. It's a Tuesday night. Only negative is that it's opposite the Jimmy V Classic. But for a lower tier OOC game- it's not bad.

Looks like the BE schedule is now being released Tuesday, September 13th. Mark your calendars!

Very curious to see how many bids the MWC, SEC, AAC, and A 10 wind up with in 2017. You've got to beat people to make the NCAA Tournament.

So True! Don't play anybody tough and then bitch and moan on Selection Sunday!

Yet you tried to make it seem so though, thanks for making my point. You just couldn't help yourself could you?

look- it's not a plum slot- but for the Big East, you can't ask for a better slot against a lower tier OOC opponent(in a road game). It's surprising that it's that good quite frankly- normally that game would be best case on CBSSN.

Non-conference scheduling studs and duds: The Big East - Jeff Eisenberg, Yahoo! - September 8, 2016

Toughest non-league schedule: Georgetown

Easiest non-league schedule: DePaul

Four other notable Big East schedules: Xavier, Villanova, Seton Hall, St. John’s

Four Big East non-conference games to watch.

I get Xavier, were just too close perhaps, but tell me again why noone in the BE will schedule us? Can't be expansion as all agree that's not in the cards anytime soon. Its an honest question. Thanks

I'd imagine its 2 things:

1) UD is very strong at home. So any home & home is unlikely to be a sweep
2) UD is better than their national profile suggests. So beating UD doesn't get enough credit and losing to UD gets too much credit.

Thanks Dude, your probably spot on. But we're picked for a 4th straight tournament appearance and have a decent RPI so I'd have thought we'd lost that "bad loss" stigma.
