I think actually this is the perfect time to jump up a few spots. Providence is replacing it's two best players, Nova is trying to repeat but also losing two key seniors, Seton Hall just lost it's best player, same goes for Marquette. I think we finish 5th or 6th this year.

The future is bright for St. John's, no doubt, but Villanova should not be involved in the conversation of teams that St. John's might jump, or teams that might finish in the middle of the conference. You are correct, Villanova does lose two key seniors, but we are LOADED and besides Xavier, Villanova will be the team to beat in the Big East once again next year. I am looking forward to watching St. John's next year though. Should be fun.

I totally agree. Anything better would be a bonus. I just hope the fans stay the course. This ship is 100% moving in the right direction.
17-18 Watch OUT. The top have of the conference will have to start tucking their chains.
