Off topic, I know, but is this vending machine pizza stuff actually good?

Ha!

I haven't been there to try it, but my sources on campus tell me that it's legitimate pizza, including a transplanted New Yorker who loves good pizza.

So, a French company comes up with a pizza ATM. Brave new world we're in here.

Off topic, but does anyone here live out there? What's the change been like?

I live in Denver. Haven't really seen any change. Sales hit 1 billion in 2015 and the state was happy to charge their 29% tax (much less for medical pot). Money is supposed to go to schools, but who knows once the bureaucrats get ahold of it. You can also "grow your own". 6 plants per person.

Interesting. I am for legalization but I don't think you should be able to advertise or make edibles.

I live in Washington, the edibles are a big part of it and their THC content is highly regulated and the packaging is pretty wild, better than any type of candy packaging you will ever see. The main problem is that it is a cash only business because of the banks and the feds and the bigger shops bring in 100's of thousands of dollars in taxes each month to some hidden room at the state where it is counted and collected. Seems dangerous and shady to me. The money the shops are making is significant, the growers not so much I understand.

I really dislike the concept of edibles. My understanding is they are the most potent version of the drug and yet they are the most easily ingested and are more or less modeled after children's candies. Get rid of them and I am pretty much fine with the rest.

That's all true for sure but like i said it's the most highly regulated of the Washington items that are approved, the current program consist of essentially 3 items, pot for smoke, edibles and oils for vapor pens.

California will be joining Colorado and Washington this year. There is a ballot initiative here in California that is supported by 60% of the population. They also have about 50x the amount of money to spend on advertising....
