His top 5 are all good players, but if Creighton is in the Top 25 this year, Mo Watson will be the first team PG.

Who on Rothstein's team is a point guard? Also, the Big East typically doesn't go with the best at each position and call that the 1st team. Last year there were 6 players and no Center. Heck there wasn't a Center named until you got to the Honorable Mention selections.

It wouldn't surprise me if Watson's on the 1st team, especially if Creighton does as well as what most people think they'll do. However, it's also possible that Edmond Sumner or Jalen Brunson wind up being better point guards than Watson too. Tons of really good players in this league.

I'll go ahead and be "that guy":

If Rothstein was doing it right, he would have had a POY and then 5 first Big East players. Not Hart as both POY and 1st team.

If Marquette doesn't finish in the top-6, it will be very disappointing. We have been a cellar-dweller for every year of the new conference, and currently have our longest tournament drought in as long as I can imagine. I really like Wojo and the program and he developing, but, at some point, you need to make the tournament. It is our goal every year. Four consecutive years without an appearance may make fans/alumni restless.

Anyways, looking forward to another great season!

If we don't make either tournament this year it'll be the first time we've gone 4 yeas without postseason since Marquette basketball was "born" in 1955. It'll also be a huge downer since it's the 100yr anniversary of our program. What really sucks is that this is happening during our best recruiting since Al

Seems like he named everybody in the League. I guess if one or two pop out on the scene, he had 'em.
