Indiana and Cinci are good games.
Utah and Vanderbilt lose a lot.
Need to beat Vanderbilt so you get arizona and not Santa Clara.

Is Indiana St supposed to be any good this year they're a decent midmajor most years?

ISU finished sub 500 in the Valley last year and lost two of their top three scorers. I have no idea what they are bringing in. But the mystic of Larry Bird doesn't have the same pull as it did two decades ago. I am counting this game as a W for the 'Dawgs. Looking for 7 or 8 wins in there.

Thought this was really funny on the tournament's website for the event where Georgetown plays LaSalle and DePaul plays Temple:

" Taking place in American Airlines Arena, this event features power conference teams Illinois (Big Ten), Miami (ACC), and Georgetown (Big East) as well as strong teams VCU, Temple, DePaul, LaSalle, and Wofford. "

Seton Hall adds games against Cal & Hawaii. Cal should be good while Hawaii should be awful. I believe they are losing a ton of scholarships and more from penalties.

so looking at Seton Hall- probably no game on west coast before the 2 day tourney.

looking at the schedule site- they play at home on Dec 1(Thu).
Then tourney is Dec 6-7. Hawaii on the 6th, Cal on the 7th.
then play at MSG on Dec 12(Mon)

What's going to be really huge for Seton Hall is the 1st round game of the Orlando tourney. so they get 3 good games there.

Seton Hall's games against Cal and Hawaii were known months ago- just now made official. I believe the Hawaii game is the "additional west coast game." Obviously part of the same event, it was just a case of Cal was a set opponent and they were still looking for another.

well if it was a 2 day event, then the tourney would have determined the other opponent. Seton Hall wouldn't have had that much say in the opponent.

a lot of times teams will get a game before the tourney that's not part of the tourney. For instance- UNC is playing in Maui this year and is playing at Hawaii the Friday before the start of the tourney. doesn't seem like that's a possibility.

True, but many did not know this is a FS1 two day- two game event as last year on FS1 was on a Monday with Nova vs OU and Navy-Oregon.
