He's bitter and he seems to have a hard on for Xavier.

In the meantime, he should shut up until the Johnnies make consistent contributions to the conference.

I could care less about X. Even at our worst we hung right there with your best. You better hope we don't get better. BTW our contribution to the conference is bringing it into existence along with PC and Gtown. Love how X fans are so butthurt when people call them out on their BS complaining. College basketball didn't start 16 years ago guys.[/quote]

16 years? Are you truly that stupid?

You could care less about Xavier, yet you keep grinding on this. Sure.

I actually hope you get much better. We'll be getting better, too. We aren't butt hurt about anything; we're simply calling you out on your petty jealousy.

Otherwise, you appear to be implying that it was actually the C3, not the C7. I wonder how Nova, SHU, Marquette and DePaul fans feel about that gem.

BTW, this is a new version of the BE that has to prove itself. You haven't earned crap.

You're the biggest butt hurt baby on these boards. You're still mad about the freaking Gavitt games. I'm not "grinding" on anything, the subject was dropped weeks ago, you're the one bringing it BACK up and talking chit. I'll never be jealous of anything from Cincy. You better hope you get better because we already proved we can hang with you at your best ever with our worst team ever. This ain't the A-10 and we ain't Fordham, you better get better or you're gonna be in for a shock.

Keep crying though, i'm used to it from your Bearcat neighbors. They cried just as much as you guys do and they had trouble beating us too.

Actually, I'm lovin' this stuff. Gotta admire the passionate fans...
Please keep this going as otherwise I have some household "Honey do's" that I may be bored enough to start. :P

As an aside, using the commonly used year of 1985 (64+ team era) to determine the modern era of college basketball the Big East weeks in the AP Top 25 are as follow:

1. Georgetown
2. Villanova
3. Marquette
4. Xavier
5. St Johns
6. Butler (All of that group is in the Top 50)
7. Seton Hall
8 Creighton
9. DePaul
10. Providence

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Since 2000....

1. Villanova
2. Georgetown
3. Marquette
4. Butler
5. Xavier
6. Creighton (All of that group is in the Top 50)
7. Providence
8. St Johns
9. Seton Hall
10. Depaul

What do this have to do with the 2016-17 non- conference schedule?

Is this proof that St. John's is an inferior historical program to Creighton and Xavier? Please.

Big East schools make five million a year because of St. John's, Georgetown, Villanova, Providence, Seton Hall, their history, and MSG. Xavier, Creighton, and Butler are great additions, but, make no mistake, the Big East schools would still make five million a year if it was Dayton and not Xavier. Has Dayton made a final four?

St. John's has to earn nothing. Everybody wins simply because they exist, specifically, where they exist.

Wait...

This is a St John's vs X pissing contest.

Creighton ain't in this. It is well documented that we (the Jays) have underachieved in the dance (no SS in the modern era - 64 teams). I readily admit that CU has a hill to climb with a substantial "to do list" of goals to reach - things to prove as we grow in the Big East.

Carry on folks.

No, some of the X fans are still butt hurt over the Gavitt games and that I called them out on their crying. So the only thing they can do is dog St. John's for not being very good. Too bad for them we still almost beat them both games this year.
