2014 Multi-Team Events

2 Big East teams in one of the premier events - Battle 4 Atlantis:

Battle 4 Atlantis field down in the Bahamas is: Kansas, Tennessee, Villanova, Xavier, Iowa, Wake, UTEP and USC.

Creighton and Marquette will be in the DirectTV Classic in Anaheim this year as well along w/San Diego State, Miami (FL), College of Charleston, Arizona State, GW and one more team TBD.

I assume they will try to keep Xavier / Nova and Creighton / Marquette from meeting in these, right?

It was just tweeted that the TBD team is..................Cal State Fullerton. :(

Why should they? When the game would be played these two teams still would never have played in the same conference. If it would hurt them ratings wise I guess maybe so, but I don't see it in these cases. It's not like they owe the Big East something in trying to keep them apart, we're the ones that made the 'mess' for them.

The setup for the battle for Atlantis will be interesting. Not only does Xavier obviously have nova twice on our schedule, we also have wake scheduled in our non conf schedule in the skip prosser classic AND Tennessee in espn 24 hour tip off marathon.

I believe one of them last season had the same deal with Oklahoma and West Virginia, and they played each other there as a non-conference game even though both were Big XII schools.

Georgetown will compete in the Puerto Rico Tip-Off November 21, 22, and 24.
Other teams include Auburn (SEC), Charlotte (CUSA), Florida State (ACC), Kansas State (Big 12), Long Beach State (Big West), Michigan (Big Ten), and VCU (A10).

Providence will compete in the Paradise Jam November 22-25.
Other teams include La Salle (A10), Loyola Marymount (WCC), Maryland (ACC), Marist (MAAC), Morgan State (MEAC), Northern Iowa (MVC), and Vanderbilt (SEC). They will face Vanderbilt in the quarterfinals.

Seton Hall will compete in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic Nov. 22 and 23.
Other teams include Michigan State (Big Ten), Oklahoma (Big 12), and Virginia Tech (ACC). Other teams will be announced later.

DePaul will compete in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic Nov. 25 and 26.
Other teams include BYU (WCC), Texas (Big 12), and Wichita State (MVC). Other teams will be announced later.

Butler will compete in the Old Spice Classic November 28, 29, and December 1.
Other teams include LSU (SEC), Memphis (AAC), Oklahoma State (Big 12), Purdue (Big Ten), St. Joseph's (A10), Siena (MAAC), and Washington State (Pac-12).

Villanova and Xavier will compete in the Battle 4 Atlantis on Nov. 28, 29, and 30.
Other teams include Iowa (Big Ten), Kansas (Big 12), USC (Pac-12), Tennessee (SEC), UTEP (CUSA), and Wake Forest (ACC). Other teams will play regional games.

Creighton and Marquette will compete in the Anaheim Classic Nov. 28, 29, and Dec. 1.
Other teams include Arizona State (Pac-12), Cal State Fullerton (Big West), College of Charleston (CAA), George Washington (A10), Miami (FL) (ACC), and San Diego State (MWC).

St. John's will compete in the Barclays Center Classic Nov. 29 and 30.
Other host teams include Georgia Tech (ACC), Mississippi (SEC), and Penn State (Big Ten).
