I think the lineup will either look like
Sumner
Davis
Macura
Bluiett
Either Gaston or O'Mara
OR
Sumner
Davis
Bluiett
Gates
Either Gaston or O'Mara
Depends on if Mack stays with the four around one or switches to a primarily bigger lineup. I can't decide who will start between O'Mara and Gaston. I'm leaning Gaston right now. The main rotation will be Sumner, Davis, Goodin, Macura, Bluiett, Gates, Gaston, and O'Mara. Tyrique Jones and Eddie Ekioyor will get spot minutes if the two bigs get in foul trouble.

There's been talk of Tyrique Jones redshirting, which in my opinion, is an absolute no brainer. Ekiyor and he are very similar players, and Ekiyor did enroll early and is in the process of taking his red shirt right now. He's a bit more offensively polished then Tyrique, but Tyrique possesses ELITE athleticism, yet is mostly good for put backs and dunks at this point. I think a year would with M. Pegues (our "Bigs" coach/ie look at what he did with Farr) would do wonders for Tyriques offensive game. Including Blueitt at the the 4, we have 6 kids in the front court. In my mind at least, someone needs to be red shirted, and Jones would seem to be the most likely candidate.

I've read on the Xavier Hoops board that O'Mara might transfer now. I was ok with the first two transferring but man this one would hurt badly.

Rumors of Sean O'Mara transferring from @XavierMBB are untrue. He's 100 percent on board for next year.

O'Mara coming back is bigger for the 17-18 season because without him all the true poster players would be freshman and sophomores for Xavier. Also adds good post depth for Xavier next year too. The guy is hard to guard in the post and might have been Xavier's best post scorer last year. Just needs some better foot speed on defense.

Man, woulda expected London to Vandy and Austin to Chattanoga. Austin originally commited to Tennessee now going to the rival school. Real disappointing London didn't pan out. Was at a practice preseason and Makinde London looked like an offensive weapon with his ability to hit the 3. He was hitting about 8-9 in a row in warm ups might miss one then hit another 8-9. Also was good offensively in drills but I guess he couldn't put it together in game.
